Legendary for expanding the use of onshore three-dimensional seismic, Dawson has a history of being an early adaptor of technology. Through the years, we have efficiently verified usable technologies and brought them to the marketplace for our clients. However, as prospects become more and more difficult to find and define, there is a tremendous burden placed on our tools to create better images and see things we’ve never seen before.

Dawson purchased 100,000 Pioneer nodes in August of 2025. This will greatly enhance our ability to not only meet but exceed industry expectations. We will have over 185,000 channels of 1C channels to deploy. The Pioneer nodes are single-component, lightweight, autonomous wireless seismic data acquisition channels which will allow Dawson to acquire data more efficiently and faster.
