At Dawson, we’ve built our reputation on efficient, safe, and reliable field crews. With our state-of-the-industry vehicle and electronic maintenance capability and HSSE Operations on location, Dawson crews are at home anywhere in the Lower 48.

We operate fifteen experienced crews, six equipped with ARAM ARIES Recording systems, six with IO System II RSR Radio Telemetry and three with IO System II cable based recording systems. Our total channel count is in excess of 102,000 channels. Our crews are equipped with 62,000-pound peak force Vibroseis Equipment and/or dynamite capabilities, and each of our source units is precisely positioned by GPS. In addition, we operate two or more sets per crew to ensure the most efficient and productive cycle times.

We also conduct stakeless surveys for our Vibroseis energy source utilizing Tiger-Nav in certain areas. All field units, including personnel carriers, are tracked in real time by GPS and all have helicopter support capabilities to minimize environmental impact and increase productivity.
